Space 1026 Art Auction

  • Space 1026 1026 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA, 19107 United States (map)

Doors at 6 pm / Bidding at 7 pm

Space 1026 has continued to thrive for 20 years with the
support of its members past and present, the Philadelphia
community, and the generous donations from our annual
art auction. We provide affordable studio spaces, house a
communal silk screen facility, and offer members a chance to
be part of the Philadelphia art community while serving as a
supportive venue for varied gallery programming.
Donations contribute in a variety of ways to help sustain the
Space 1026 gallery and studio facilities including the cost
of repairs, equipment and materials, promotional post cards
and refreshments at openings for visiting artists, participation
in group shows and other costs necessary in hosting events
throughout the year.
The art auction also provides an accessible way for new
audiences to discover and own great art donated by
members and supporters. Not only does the auction feature
work from prominent Space 1026 members like Adam
Wallacavage, Andrew Jeffery Wright, Alex Lukas and James
Ulmer, but it also features work from celebrated national
artists like Charles Burns, Tim Kerr, Ed Templeton and Erin
All lots begin with an opening bid of only $5! For collectors
looking for amazing bargains or for those people starting an
art collection, the Space 1026 art auction is a great
opportunity to go home with an amazing piece of original art.
With your support we look forward to continuing to foster
eclectic gallery programming and a growing community of
artists for years to come.
As much as this is a fundraising event for us, this is also a
party for you. There will be food, beverages, an awesome
live auctioneer, music, friends, rowdiness, jumping up for the
art your love, cheering on the people who bid, crying over
the piece you lost, and maybe a journey home victoriously
with art in hand that same night. We invite everyone to
participate and enjoy. Your support and presence is greatly
appreciated. Hope to see you there!
