A SOLO-EXHIBITION BY NICK FAGAN
WINNER OF THE NAPOLEON 2017 OPEN CALL
THIS EXHIBITION WILL BE HELD AT 990 SPRING GARDEN STREET
MOURN is a recent body of work about suicide. Fagan’s paintings and sculptures consider the different roles people play in personal tragedies. Each work looks at a new facet of the experience, from personally dealing with his own attempted suicide to witnessing his friends who were successful at the task. At every turn, Fagan expresses a different view from the various characters and collaged narratives that arise out of each suicide as it unfolds.
