Join us for the opening reception of "The World on View: Objects from Universal Expositions, 1851-1915." This exhibition is the culmination of a curatorial seminar in Penn's History of Art Department taught by Professor André Dombrowski. We will celebrate the opening with food, drink, and remarks from Dr. Anita Allen, Vice Provost for Faculty; Lynn Marsden-Atlass, Executive Director of the Arthur Ross Gallery; and Professor Dombrowski, who will invite visitors to learn about the objects on display from the students who curated them.
