Is transformation a simple, linear process? Is it possible for personal transformation to be broadly definable? The artists of “Layers of Transformation” each use various soft mediums of textiles, fabrics and fibers to understand and portray the deeper, mysterious complexities of re-establishing, reforming - changing oneself.

Ranging in artistic intentions from personal histories confronted to meditative processes and positive messaging – “Layers Of Transformation” presents the patients and staff of The Bodine Center for Cancer Treatment opportunities to observe soft connections within the challenging layers of self-discovery.

If you cannot make the reception and wish to take a tour at a later time, please email

How to get there: the entrance to the Bodine Center for Cancer Treatment is the small revolving door at the south west corner of the Gibbon Building, on Sansom near 11th.
