Framing: Presenting Artwork, an Artist's Guide

DVAA Salon Series Featuring:
Brian Dennis and Keith Breitfeller, artists and framers - B&K Arts, LLC

June 20th, 2019 - 7:00 - 8:30pm
Presentation is everything. Sloppy framing detracts from the finished work. Inappropriate hanging methods are a nightmare for installers. But presenting work to professional standards doesn’t require custom frames. Our talk will help you mount a successful exhibition to professional standards. We will review goals, aesthetics and techniques that will help you display your artwork properly.

Brian Dennis and Keith Breitfeller, both working artists, have supported themselves as picture framers for 40 years. Currently they operate B&K Arts, an artisan-based shop. They specialize in clean, contemporary design that presents the art in an unobtrusive manner. They are also well versed in period frames. Their experience has resulted in relationships with local artisans, conservators, and nationally acclaimed fabricators providing clients with a wide range of options to perfectly suit their needs.

They are known for quality and service - as well as their technical savvy. B&K Arts, LLC provides archival picture frames as well as installation services to private collectors, designers, institutions, and corporations.

Free for all to attend!
