Joy #1: All artwork is contextual, through which it engages with critical conversations within its immediate environment. Living with contemporary art allows you to engage with, return to and reflect upon these critical conversations contained within a work of art, as well as to watch those conversations grow, for a lifetime.
On Tuesday, October 17th, from 6:30-8:30p, Philly Stewards is excited to host the second in our three-part series on Philadelphia Art and Artists in collaboration with Kismet CoWork of Chestnut Hill.
Tim Andreadis, Department Head of 20th Century Design at Freeman’s Auction House, will join us for the evening to speak about the joys of buying art locally and the amazing journey of living with art. We are also excited to start the evening out with two 3-minute “slow looks” of works of art by Philadelphia Artists.
There will be lite snacks and drinks available.
